TruWest can match up to $15,000 (1) on your down payment

WISH Program

We can help make your homeownership dreams come true with the Workforce Initiative Subsidy for Homeownership (WISH) program. The WISH Program provides qualified homebuyers a match of up to $15,000 of down payment funds. For each dollar you put toward a down payment, a match of $3 is received in WISH grant funds. Requirements:

  • Be a first-time homebuyer2
  • Meet income eligibility guidelines
  • Meet required credit qualifications
  • Complete a free homeownership counseling course
  • Open escrow on home purchase prior to March 31, 2018

How to Apply for the WISH Program

    Apply online or by phone at (855) 841-9203.

    Applications with complete information will be processed and disclosed within 3 business days. A licensed TruWest Mortgage Loan Originator may contact you if additional information is needed.

    Once the application process has started, the origination process will begin. Origination times may vary based on transaction, but normally take 30-45 days.

    Once the loan has passed underwriting, a TruWest representative will contact you to arrange a closing appointment.

Note: A TruWest membership should be opened prior to loan approval but can be opened any time before loan disbursement (funding)
