Meet the Board Members at Large

Our Board Members at Large work to further the goals of TruWest Credit Union and focus on member concerns. They listen to our members and communicate issues, needs and interests to the Board of Directors.

 


Jeff Homer

Jeff is Corporate Director of Environmental, Health and Safety for SUMCO. Before this role he was Senior Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety at General Dynamics and held similar positions for Motorola previously. Jeff also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and as a member of the Arizona Manufacturer’s Council. He is a former member of the Arizona Emergency Response Commission’s Advisory Committee and Arizona’s OSHA Review Board.

Jeff has been a member of TruWest Credit Union for more than 30 years, and has served as a volunteer on its Board of Directors for 15 years.


David Prechtel

David Prechtel is Vice President of Leader by Design, Inc., an interior design and residential remodeling company. Prior to this, David served as an executive for Diversified Human Resources, leading the company in the areas of market expansion and product development. David has held the positions of Corporate Controller and Senior Systems Analyst for several semiconductor companies, including Motorola, ON Semiconductor and SEZ America. He holds a B.S. in Public Accountancy from Northern Arizona University, and is a Licensed Contractor in the State of Arizona.

David has served as a volunteer on the TruWest Board of Directors for 13 years—three years as Treasurer and three years as Vice Chairman.


Mike Moulton

Mike is the CFO for ONR, Inc, a regional provider of contract therapy services. Prior to this, he served as the CFO of Marbridge Foundation, Vice President of Finance for Lone Star Circle of Care and held increasingly responsible positions with Advanced Micro Devices and Motorola Semiconductor. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor. Mike has served on the TruWest Board for seven years, with two of those years as Secretary.


Tim Niesz

Tim retired from Motorola in 2002 after serving the company for almost 39 years. During his time with Motorola he held a variety of leadership and manufacturing positions. He became the Human Resources (HR) Department Manager and moved up to VP and Director. Tim held international positions in manufacturing and HR, including VP and Director of HR for Asia Pacific. And, for the last five years with Motorola, he handled acquisitions, divestitures and joint venture formulation. Along with his extensive work experience, Tim holds a B.S. in Business Management with a primary focus in HR.


Jeffrey Myers

Jeffrey is Managing Director of Austin-based J. V. Myers & Associates, PC, a private intellectual property (IP) law firm specializing in management and monetization of large IP portfolios. The firm also provides patent preparation and prosecution support to a small number of semiconductor chip design start-ups. From 2000 to 2006, Jeffrey was in-house Associate/General Counsel for several start-ups. Prior to this, he was the Director of Intellectual Property Development for the Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector, from which he retired after 18 years of service. In 1997-1998, while at Motorola, he served on the former Motorola Employees Credit Union Board of Directors. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1972. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, an M.S. in Business Administration from George Washington University, and a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
